Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with expertise in utilizing Upwork and LinkedIn to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on leveraging these platforms to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and effective communication to drive growth and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1)Upwork and LinkedIn Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for leveraging Upwork and LinkedIn to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on platform trends, algorithms, and best practices to maximize visibility and success.

2)Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and target potential clients on Upwork and LinkedIn through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Create compelling proposals and LinkedIn content tailored to client needs, showcasing the company's strengths and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and projects.

3)LinkedIn Marketing:

  • Designed and executed LinkedIn marketing campaigns to build brand presence and attract potential clients.
  • Leverage LinkedIn tools (e.g., Sales Navigator) to connect with decision-makers and nurture leads.
  • Engage with industry-relevant groups, share content, and participate in discussions to drive engagement.

4)Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients on Upwork and LinkedIn, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project onboarding and delivery.

5)Contract Closure:

  • Close deals by presenting competitive proposals and demonstrating the value of our services.

6)Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Upwork and LinkedIn projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, successes, and areas for improvement.

7)Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

8)Stay Informed:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in Upwork and LinkedIn platforms to adapt strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on Upwork and LinkedIn marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Upwork and LinkedIn platforms, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with project management and client relationship management tools.
