As an AWS (Amazon Web Services) Engineer/Architect, we are looking for someone to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. Here you will be responsible to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. As an AWS Engineer/Architect, you will play a vital role in building and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy AWS infrastructure solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Implement and maintain highly available and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
- Optimize and monitor AWS resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance on building cloud-native applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid experience designing and implementing AWS-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of core AWS services and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or PowerShell).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, DNS) and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
