  • 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST (US Shift)
  • 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (UK Shift)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Upwork Business Development Expert (BDM) with proven experience in acquiring and winning high-value IT service projects through Upwork and similar freelancing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bidding, client acquisition, and relationship management across domains such as AI/ML, NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise technology services and the ability to convert leads into long-term business opportunities for a fast-growing IT consulting organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
  • Prepare compelling, customized proposals for AI/ML, NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics projects.
  • Engage with potential clients, understand requirements, and lead initial discovery discussions.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business engagements.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of global clients and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design winning solutions and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records of bids, conversions, revenue, and client interactions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Upwork bidding and business development.
  • Proven success in winning projects in one or more of the following domains:
    • AI/ML solutions
    • NetSuite
    • Oracle
    • Salesforce
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • ERP / CRM implementations
    • Cloud and digital transformation projects
  • Experience working with IT services, software development, consulting, or technology firms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions and project delivery models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, client engagement, and closing abilities.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting revenue and acquisition targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of international clients and decision-makers.
  • Experience handling both SMB and enterprise-level clients.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML solutions, cloud technologies, and CRM/ERP ecosystems.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, target-driven environments.
