Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Jenkins (Declarative Pipelines). This role focuses on building scalable CI/CD pipelines, enhancing system reliability, and driving automation across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD & Automation:

  • Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Declarative Pipelines)
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows
  • Optimize pipeline performance, scalability, and security

GCP Infrastructure & Cloud Operations:

  • Manage and automate deployments across GCP services (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, VPC, Cloud Storage)
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure
  • Maintain cloud networking, compute, and storage configurations

Reliability & Monitoring:

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Define and track SLIs, KPIs (availability, latency, performance)
  • Improve system resiliency, scalability, and performance

Incident & Lifecycle Management:

  • Handle P1/P2 incidents with quick resolution
  • Ensure proactive monitoring and preventive automation
  • Support capacity planning, load testing, and system readiness

Collaboration & Governance:

  • Work closely with development and DevOps teams
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
  • Maintain documentation and architectural best practices

Must-Have Skills (Strict Screening):

  • 5+ years of experience as an SRE (mandatory)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proven expertise in Jenkins (Declarative Pipelines)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD architecture and automation
  • Experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
  • Strong scripting skills (Shell/Python)
  • Ability to work independently and own deliverables
  • Good stability in career (mandatory)
  • Notice Period: 0–15 days only (strict)
  • Willing to work from Trivandrum/Pune (Hybrid model)

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Kubernetes (GKE)
  • Exposure to Cloud Functions, Cloud Run
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
  • Experience with high-availability and distributed systems

Recruiter Screening Guidelines:

  • Validate hands-on GCP experience (not just basic exposure)
  • Check real Jenkins Declarative pipeline implementation
  • Assess incident handling (P1/P2 scenarios)
  • Ensure candidate has worked in production environments
  • Strong focus on ownership and independent working capability
