SFDC Business Analyst (BA)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SFDC Business Analyst (BA) to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams for Salesforce projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce CRM processes, business analysis, requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management, with the ability to drive successful project delivery and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Conduct discussions and workshops with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business needs and processes.
  • Prepare and maintain BRD (Business Requirement Document), FRD (Functional Requirement Document), user stories, process flows, use cases, and other project documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Salesforce development and configuration teams.
  • Coordinate between business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), test case preparation, defect tracking, and validation activities.
  • Assist in deployment planning, release coordination, and post-deployment support activities.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements and Salesforce best practices.
  • Ensure timely communication of project status, risks, dependencies, and requirement changes.
  • Support training sessions, user documentation, and change management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Salesforce CRM projects and implementations.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CRM workflows.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, business process analysis, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery processes.
  • Experience supporting UAT, testing coordination, and release management activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of CRM business processes such as lead management, sales pipeline, customer service, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification preferred.
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Salesforce integrations, reporting, and dashboard functionalities is an added advantage.
  • Domain experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Retail preferred.
