Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the technical delivery of a global Tender & Pricing Transformation Program for Fresenius Kabi. This role will drive the design, development, integration, and optimization of Salesforce solutions across more than 120 international markets.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, CLM, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and AI-driven capabilities, along with strong experience in enterprise-scale implementations within complex, multi-country environments.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical leadership, problem-solving capabilities, and collaboration across cross-functional global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development & Configuration

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, and declarative tools
  • Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ, including:
    • Price Rules
    • Product Configuration
    • Approval Workflows
    • Quote Generation
  • Implement and manage Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions using Salesforce Contracts with tools such as DocuSign and Conga
  • Develop contract templates, redlining workflows, and e-signature integrations
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and Governor Limits

Integration & Data Management

  • Lead integration architecture and implementation with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and custom middleware solutions
  • Manage end-to-end data migration activities including:
    • ETL processes
    • Data cleansing
    • Reconciliation
    • Dry runs and validation
  • Develop robust monitoring and error-handling mechanisms for integrations

DevOps & Quality Engineering

  • Own and manage CI/CD pipelines using:
    • Salesforce DX (SFDX)
    • Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)
    • Copado or Jenkins
  • Maintain a minimum of 85% Apex code coverage
  • Conduct peer code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices
  • Coordinate deployments across development, sandbox, UAT, and production environments

Production Support & Stability

  • Troubleshoot and resolve L3 production issues, including:
    • Apex exceptions
    • Integration failures
    • Performance bottlenecks
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical P1/P2 incidents within defined timelines
  • Optimize and enhance the existing Tender Management platform to reduce technical debt and improve system performance

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Daily Standups
    • Sprint Reviews
    • Retrospectives
  • Collaborate closely with Delivery Leads, QA teams, Business Analysts, and Production Support Engineers
  • Prepare and maintain:
    • Technical Design Documents
    • Configuration Guides
    • Deployment Documentation
    • Release Notes

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 7–10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Minimum 3 end-to-end global Salesforce CPQ implementations
  • Minimum 2 CLM implementation/rollout projects
  • Proven experience working in multi-country, multi-currency Salesforce environments
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical Devices industries is highly preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in:
    • Apex
    • LWC
    • SOQL/SOSL
    • REST/SOAP APIs
    • Salesforce Flows
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Salesforce CPQ
    • Salesforce Contracts
    • DocuSign
    • Conga Composer or similar CLM tools
  • Experience with enterprise integrations using MuleSoft or middleware platforms
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Provar or Selenium is a plus
  • Exposure to Salesforce AI capabilities such as:
    • Einstein Prediction Builder
    • Copilot
    • AgentForce (preferred)

Certifications (Active Certifications Preferred)

Mandatory:

  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II

Preferred:

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Application Architect

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities
